Hannah Whitaker wasted no opportunities at the plate on Monday, driving in four on three hits to lead Red Devils past Pendleton 8-3 on Monday. Whitaker drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth.
Pendleton scored three runs in the second inning, but Red Devils still managed to pull out the victory. Raine Wood and #28 all drove in runs in the frame.
Red Devils got things moving in the first inning. Carly White drove in one when she singled.
Pendleton knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the second inning. #28 drew a walk, scoring one run.
Red Devils pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kaitlyn Tope singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Whitaker homered on a 2-0 count, scoring four runs.
White was in the circle for Red Devils. She went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out one.
