Liberty Red Devils Varsity had a tough time generating runs on Tuesday, dropping their game with Ninety Six 23-3.
Ninety Six got things started in the first inning when #1 grounded out, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the first inning, Liberty Red Devils Varsity tied things up at three when Sofia Robert homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Ninety Six pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second #10 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and #24 grounded out, scoring one run.
Ninety Six scored 11 runs in the third inning. #7, #1, #10, #24, #19, and #20 each drove in runs during the inning.
Robert toed the rubber for Liberty Red Devils Varsity. Robert went two innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out one. Mayci Ledwell and McKenzie Porter entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Kaitlyn Tope led Liberty Red Devils Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
Ninety Six had 20 hits in the game. #18, #20, #1, #19, #17, and #10 each had multiple hits for Ninety Six. #18 went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Ninety Six in hits.
The Red Devils travel to Abbeville Monday for region play. First pitch is at 7:00 PM.
