Liberty Red Devils Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-3 loss to Pendleton on Monday. Pendleton took the lead on a double in the first inning.

The Liberty Red Devils Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Pendleton, giving up 13 runs.

Pendleton scored five runs in the third inning. Pendleton big bats were led by #6, #8, and #32, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

#5 got the start for Pendleton. The ace lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out four.

Rylee Medlin toed the rubber for Liberty Red Devils Varsity. Medlin went one inning, allowing three runs on one hit and striking out one. Mayci Ledwell and Sofia Robert entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and two innings respectively.
